With Cash Miles, you can use the Miles you’ve earned in your Cash account instantly in-store towards your purchases at participating partners or online for eVouchers at airmiles.ca/cash. Say you stop for fuel at Shell on your way to work, you could use your Cash Miles for a little relief at the register—and still earn Miles on what you buy.
How Much Are Cash Miles Worth?
Let’s break down the value of Cash Miles:
95 Cash Miles gets you $10 towards your purchases, and can be redeemed in $10 increments up to $750 per collector account per day at most AIR MILES Cash Partners. That means if you are filling up gas at Shell and you have 475 Cash Miles in your Cash account, you can turn that into $50 off your fuel bill. And if you want to use them online, you can purchase eVouchers with your Cash Miles too. Not sure what eVouchers are? We’ll dive more into those soon.
How Do I Set My Balance Preference?
You can set and change at any time how the Miles you earn are allocated, and what percentage goes into each of your AIR MILES Cash and Dream Accounts. Just sign in and select “set balance preference” under your Cash and Dream Account balances. The change will take effect at 3 a.m. ET the following day. Existing Miles cannot be transferred between accounts, only the Miles you earn going forward will be allocated into each of your accounts based on the preference you have selected.
Why should I choose Cash Miles over Dream Miles?
Both kinds of Miles have awesome rewards. Dream Miles are typically used on travel, events, and merchandise. You generally need to collect longer to have enough Dream Miles to redeem for those things. Cash Miles can be for everyday use and come in handy when you’re looking to redeem Cash Miles towards regular purchases in-store and online with participating Partners.
How can I use Cash Miles?
There are a couple of ways you can use your Cash Miles, and the exact process may vary slightly from partner to partner.
If you want to use them in-store at participating Partners, like Shell, typically you just show the cashier your AIR MILES Card at checkout and let them know you would like to use Cash Miles towards your purchase. You need to spend a minimum of $10 before tax, then every 95 Cash Miles you redeem will get you $10 toward your purchase.
eVouchers are another fun way to use Cash Miles on things like dinner—at restaurants or through Uber Eats and Doordash—movies, coffee, subscriptions, and so much more. You can redeem for eVouchers online at airmiles.ca/cash. 95 Cash Miles = $10 worth of value at participating reward partners. Music fans, that means you can use Cash Miles towards your Spotify subscription. And coffee lovers, Starbucks. Enough said.

How Can I Keep my AIR MILES Cash Account Safe?
We’re BIG on security, especially when it comes to keeping your account safe. That’s why one of the features of AIR MILES Cash is being able to lock and unlock your Cash Account whenever you want.
Cash Miles can’t be used when your Cash Account is locked, but you’ll still be earning Miles as you make purchases. If you choose to lock your Cash Account, you can unlock it in seconds by using your PIN in the AIR MILES app or online so that they’re ready to redeem whenever you are. While your Cash Account is locked, cashiers also can’t see your Cash Account balance.
Pro tip: Make sure the email address on your profile is up to date to receive AIR MILES Cash redemption confirmation notifications.
